After working with Robert Rodriguez to launch his El Rey Network, he asked us to get fans excited for the flagship show From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, based on Rodriguez &#38;amp; Tarantino's iconic film of the same name.

Since the star of the series is a demonic temptress that wants to enslave mankind, we set up a seedy hotline to help.

 
How To Become A Slave For Santánico

Talking urinal cakes, burlesque posters, and dive bar takeovers were used to promote the hotline.

We mixed old school party chat with new school technology to make an immersive, dynamic experience that let you actually talk to the demon goddess herself.

Advanced vocal recognition, some clever software hacks, an exhaustive copy matrix of if/then scenarios (see below), and a very patient Eiza González (see exhaustive copy matrix below), let us create a responsive conversation that ultimately had you answer one simple question –&#38;nbsp;How would you prove your worth to Santánico Pandemónium?

We Enlist The InternetWe kicked off the campaign by initiating the world’s top 50+ creators (and their audiences) directly into the Beast Games world. With hundreds of millions of followers brought into the world of the Beast Games, there was truly no stone unturned. We had guards from the show find them at their doorsteps, as they ran errands, while vacationing, as they ate their lunch... Wherever they were, the games were there too.

Silent, faceless, imposing guards struck unexpectedly to hand deliver a mysterious Beast Games briefcase to the most famous names across the internet.Which makes sense because MrBeast is weirdly known for briefcases. Whether giving away money in them or launching his products, briefcases are a MrBeast trademark.

An all-black, solid metal tactical briefcase gave each delivery an ominous yet luxe tone. Inside, creators were greeted with a personalized video challenge from Jimmy himself, along with a uniform for them to wear during the challenge, stacks of cash, Beast Bucks, branded electronics to take things to the next level, and other secrets hidden throughout the case itself.
This meant the guards didn’t simply hand over another influencer box – they handed creators a uniform and a series of challenges to kick off the games right here, right now.

As the hype grew, our guards were sent to Times Square to protect the $5,000,000 cash prize as we gave out Beast Bucks and other surprises in games hosted by Jimmy and other creators.

The work led to so much social content, podcasts, Twitch takeovers, drone shows, living billboards, and so much more. A collective ‘WTF’ rang out across the internet that could only be answered by watching the show to see how all the easter eggs fit.
And watch they did.
A record-breaking 60M viewers on YouTube’s premiere episode. A debut at number one on Prime in over 80 countries. After a premiere like this, the show was immediately renewed for two more seasons.

In football, “The Big Game” is more than a game. To NFL fans, it’s an experience. That’s because in the U.S. it’s a cultural moment bigger than just game day. It’s Super Bowl Weekend! Whether you’re a football fan, a music fan, a lover of the spectacle that is “Game Day Advertising” or just like hanging with the people you love, it’s a reason to get together for a great time.

So when we had the opportunity to help the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee (AZSBHC)&#38;nbsp;plan a weekend-long event around Super Bowl LVII, we were excited to create a space that was both what they needed and what fans and visitors of all types wanted.

Transforming Hance Park
At the center of the Super Bowl action, Hance Park was the site for a free, family-friendly event that sponsors could seamlessly plug into while making a splash for their brands and the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee too. We focused on a flexible site layout that would maximize the guests’ ability to access fun activities, food and beverage, and provide lots of photo ops and memories.&#38;nbsp;

As we plotted the space, we created a variety of guest experiences. These art installations, stage dressing, and themes were part of AZSBHC’s pitch to sponsors. Inspiring brands to quickly activate in the space, either capitalizing on one of the concepts already designed for the space or helping provide parameters for their creative teams to concept within. Here’s how it panned out across the park.

With the NFL One Pass, people would gain free access to the experience which included many of the activations presented in our original proposal.&#38;nbsp;

Opportunities for local artists to create Arizona-inspired murals and photo ops. One of which was created by an indigenous artist, making Super Bowl history.

A multifunctional stage design that immersed people into whatever’s being presented. Whether it’s the first-ever Game Day Watch Party (which took place on Sunday at the event) or a &#38;nbsp;particular band’s aesthetic, the stage “transformed” and came to life for big events as the sun set. Just like the desert itself.

But that wasn’t even our favorite idea or the biggest eye-catcher of the event.


The Main Attraction
What’s a trip to Arizona without seeing a saguaro, the signature plant life of the Arizona desert? That’s why the centerpiece attraction of the experience was a GIANT Saguaro. The 44ft art installation was an homage to the spectacle of the desert and the spectacle of the sport.

Even though there are cacti all over the area, this particular one was the literal talk of the town.

 There was even a competition to name it. The winner, “Super Spike”.

And like all things in our theme, it came to life at night. With a DJ playing from a booth at the top of the cactus structure and LEDs dancing around the outside.&#38;nbsp;

The Desert Influence 
It’s probably pretty clear that Arizona itself was a big inspiration for everything we created, and what drove the success of the event. Beyond cacti and vivid color, what we truly wanted to capture were the parallels between the living landscape and the spirit of the game. One insight that drove that was the energy of game time and its correlation to the way the desert springs to life as the sun goes down. This distinct point of view helped give the partners, artists, and vendors some creative guidance on their journies, and created an opportunity to deepen the activations narratively.&#38;nbsp;

The Super Bowl Experience at Hance Park was just a small part of the effort the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee put together. But for many, it was their whole&#38;nbsp; Super Bowl LVII experience. The fans came out in force to the event across the weekend. And watched together at the first-ever Watch Party on Game Day (at our event).

The Campaign RolloutLike a great chef, we were creating a full-sensory experience. Our work builds immersive consistency with a cohesive presence from start to finish. For Lightlife, that meant online, in-store, and in people’s kitchens. So as the campaign continued, we not only evolved the brand work, but also focused on reminding people of the simple ways they could enjoy life by adding just one simple ingredient to their day. While that ingredient might just be plant-based food, it might also be fresh air, a fresh perspective, an excuse to get outside this weekend, or a friend, or a recipe to share with a friend. It might even be holiday cheer because the holidays love themselves some plants.&#38;nbsp;

(RED) began over a decade ago with a simple concept. Turn people's love of shopping into an act of charity.

After years of making an impact on the world, (RED) came to us to help them celebrate their 10 year anniversary on World AIDS Day. 

The goal was to create their first integrated brand campaign since their launch, bringing together all of their partners and channels under one narrative to let everyone know the finish line was in sight – all we have to do now is finish strong.


World AIDS Day // Shop-A-Thon

This kicked-off with creating and launching the first annual Shop-A-Thon – a celebrity filled QVC-style special held in December. Collaborating with Jimmy Kimmel Live, Omaze, GILT, VICE and others, we made headlines while selling a bunch of stuff in the name of ending AIDS.&#38;nbsp;

(RED) Mexico

As part of the 10 year celebration, (RED) expanded the charity into Mexico. We launched their message to an entire country.

Partner Summit

(RED)'s partner summit is a critical event for the organization. It's a time for (RED) to acknowledge the successes with their 65+ partners and share their vision for the future.

For the 10th Annual partner summit we were tasked with not only showing the campaign direction, but also with helping each of the over 65+ partner companies understand how that narrative could come to life within their messaging and products.

Using footage from the concerts, we created promotional videos, music videos from select performances, and even captured unique interviews with each of the bands.

Part of taking a break is getting on your feet and moving around. But our coffee breaks went beyond getting out of your seat to stretch your legs. We wanted you to bust a move, preferably to your own beat. One you created on our beatboxing barricade.

The beatboxing barricade allowed people to create their own rhythm in real-time with unique iced coffee-based sounds that mirror the musical tracks created by our online featured artist, Christylez Bacon, who used Dunkin' items like cups and straws to create songs.

Christylez Bacon is an incredibly talented musician who can turn anything into an instrument. So we invited him to a local Dunkin’ where he made a bunch of music using only things you’d find in the coffee shop. This kicked off a movement where people created &#38;amp; shared their own tracks.
&#38;nbsp;
 

Throughout the summer he would continue to raise the bar with increasingly inventive ways to keep the vibe running on Dunkin’.

A paper thin poster version of the barricade. The design of the posters played up the origin of the sounds. Cups, lids and straws reimagined as drums and knobs. These posters added to the interactive fun.
 

Coffee And Donut Themed Instruments
To encourage people to make music with Dunkin', we created a whole orchestra of coffee and donut themed instruments.

Amped SocialAll this was fueled and amplified across social through influeners, brand channels, and community content. We connected all of the experiential activations to hyper-shareable content and created a summer soundtrack that echoed throughout winter.

An Integrated Approach

Beyond the tagline and brand positioning, we created a tone of voice for the launch campaign that allowed the executions to span a variety of media in ways Miracle-Gro had never done before. We shared stories of people’s emotional connection to growing. Then inspired and invited them to share the things they grow.&#38;nbsp;Here’s some of the highlights.
